This month I lift the lid on recent changes made at eBay, which has finally divorced from Paypal and inserted itself into the payment chain. Ebay’s ‘Managed Payments’ system comes between buyer and sellers and eBay says that buyers no longer have to pay Paypal fees – but what’s the catch? There’s plenty of small print that sellers should think about, especially if valuable items are involved.
